My Personal Experience with Summer Solstice Magick & How It Has Been Changing My Life!
The very first outdoors altar art space ritual I ever created was years ago, exactly on the Summer Solstice…
I remember so clearly how I felt so exhausted the night before the Summer Solstice rituals: and this exhaustion was coming from the fact that I was actually amidst HUGE download of energies (even tho back then when this was happening to me, I had no idea what exactly is going on).
For me, the Summer Solstice is an extremely personal day of the year not only because I feel I share the deepest ancient connection with the SUN but also because exactly on the summer solstice day in 2012 my beloved grandpa Peter passed away. Rest in peace, grandpa! Your legacy is alive in my blood, in my heart, and I keep you in my prayers always.
My grandpa Peter shaped me in so many ways : not through too much talking, but through his personal actionable example of being an embodied devoted Earth wisdom keeper. He used to take care of huge fields of golden wheat and golden sunflowers (and a vegetables garden and fruit trees and animals).
When I did my first outdoors ritual altar exactly on the summer solstice, something in me cracked open: it’s honestly one of these experiences that you can’t quite put into words: so mystical, so timeless, so powerful, so healing, so revealing.
This is when I first experienced fully the unparalleled superpowers of ritual wisdom and altars creation: it gives you UNIQUE glimpses into the deepest depths of your soul; it heals something within you that you didn’t even know needed healing…
Something I realized recently is that oftentimes before we are about to experience a HUGE surge of LIGHT activation energy, we tend to feel a bit more shadowy, a bit tired, a bit confused… This isn’t random: it’s how our bodies prepare to take in a blast of LIGHT energy, and it encourages us to tend deeply to the ROOT because only when the root is strong, we can harness higher consciousness energy codes fully, and let them travel abundantly through all the rest of the chakras.
Similarly, after taking in a big dose of LIGHT energy, we may end up feeling a bit tired the next days: this is just a natural process of the sacred integration taking place, since an abundance of LIGHT energy always needs to be balanced.
